API v2 early access — third-party-triggered invoicing, targeted Oct 2026

Pay creators compliantly, without becoming their tax office.

Abillio is the compliance layer for platforms that pay influencers, clippers, and UGC creators: self-billing and DAC7 reporting, built in, not bolted on.

Sound familiar?

1

You're paying hundreds of creators by manual bank transfer, and it's already the bottleneck slowing everything else down.

2

None of your creators have registered a company. They shouldn't have to, but someone still has to make the invoice real.

3

Your payout tool moves money. It says nothing about DAC7, withholding, or whether a regulator would be satisfied with your paper trail.

4

A $10 payout costs almost as much to process as it's worth, so your fee structure either loses money on small creators or excludes them.

Built for how creator payouts actually work

Not invoice-per-clip, that math doesn't survive a $10 payout. Wallet accrual, one consolidated invoice per creator per period.

1

Creators accrue in a wallet

Approved clips, views, or campaign deliverables credit the creator's balance as they're confirmed, not one payment call per action.

2

One self-billed invoice, per period

A single consolidated invoice covers everything a creator earned that week or month, the paper trail DAC7 and auditors actually want.

3

Creator withdraws on their schedule

Percentage-rail payouts for small balances, SEPA/card for larger ones, the creator chooses, not the platform.

Coming with API v2 (targeted October 2026)

Third-party-triggered invoicing, your platform triggers an invoice between a creator and a named external brand, not just between the creator and your own account. Bulk invoice generation and payout webhooks ship alongside it, and M-Pesa mobile money payouts (via PawaPay, covering Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa) land the same month.

Escrow-style performance payouts

Fund the deal upfront. Pay creators as the views come in.

Deposit the full committed budget into your Abillio wallet once. Your platform then releases payments from it through the API as each milestone is hit. The invoices follow automatically.

Example deal

€500 per video, plus €100 for every 1,000 views, capped at €1,000.

€500Video live
€6001,000 views
€7002,000 views
€8003,000 views
€9004,000 views
€1,0005,000 views

The cap is reached at 5,000 views. Views after that pay nothing extra, and nothing more leaves the wallet.

1

Fund the wallet

The brand or your platform tops up the Abillio wallet with the full committed amount, e.g. €1,000, by bank transfer.

2

Trigger payments by API

When the video goes live, release €500. As each 1,000-view milestone is confirmed, release €100, up to the cap.

3

Invoices follow

Every payment is backed by an invoice issued in the creator's name. You get the paper trail without chasing anyone.

4

Creator withdraws

Earnings land in the creator's own Abillio wallet. They withdraw whenever they like, so small amounts don't each cost a transfer.

The compliance gap that moving money doesn't close.

DAC7's personal-services reporting has no minimum threshold, and it applies the moment a platform sets rates, verifies views, or credits balances. No clipping or UGC marketplace currently publishes a DAC7 position, even though Patreon, Twitch, Fiverr, Upwork, and OnlyFans already report.

On top of that, destination withholding is arriving fast in the markets creator platforms actually pay into, Kenya, Pakistan, Nigeria, India, and MiCA closed the door on unlicensed crypto payout rails as of July 2026. A tool that just moves money doesn't answer the paper-trail question that creates. Abillio's self-billing and DAC7 reporting do.

What we handle

DAC7 personal-services reportingZero-threshold, filed on your behalf
Self-billing per creatorReal invoice, no company required on the creator's side
Compliant payout railsSEPA, card, PayPal, licensed stablecoin
M-Pesa mobile moneyComing October 2026, covers Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa via PawaPay

Not an Employer of Record. Creators stay independent, we handle the paperwork that keeps that classification real.

Estonia & Latvia

Creators in Estonia and Latvia: local taxes handled, no company needed.

Most creator platforms tell creators to open an FIE, OÜ or SIA and sort out their own taxes. That's where paid deals stall. In Estonia and Latvia, Abillio's own local entities withhold and pay the creator's taxes for them.

Estonia

Handled by Abillio Services OÜ

  • No FIE, OÜ or business account (ettevõtluskonto) needed
  • Works under an authorisation agreement (käsundusleping), not employment
  • Income tax, social tax and unemployment insurance withheld and paid before payout
  • The creator's monthly tax-free allowance is applied
  • For Estonian tax residents

Latvia

Handled by Abillio Services cooperative

  • No SIA or self-employed registration needed
  • Creators join the cooperative once, with a one-time €1 membership fee
  • Latvian taxes withheld and paid before payout
  • E-invoices to schools, municipalities and public bodies generated automatically

Cross-border ready

Invoices carry Abillio's VAT number, so creators can bill brands and platforms in other countries, not just at home. Invoice in EUR, USD, GBP and more.

2-minute creator signup

Creators verify their identity once with Smart-ID, Mobiil-ID or Veriff, then they're ready to be paid.

One invoice for the payer

The brand or your platform pays one Abillio invoice. No withholding, payroll filing or tax paperwork on your side.

A payout tool moves money. This does more.

Stripe Connect, Tipalti, and Trolley are excellent at moving money. None of them were built around self-billing or DAC7.
